Bursting from the ground at Boundary Springs on the mountain just below Crater Lake, the Rogue rushes through canyons of lava, plunges off cliffs in a series of beautiful waterfalls, meanders amid old growth and volcanic ash, gradually growing from a mountain stream into a river in its first 40 miles.
